Introduction to Corporate Actions

3,000.00

Security holders (investors) are entitled to different benefits like cash or scrip dividends, bonuses, participation in rights, periodic interest payments and voting on key corporate decisions etc., based on the type of security they hold (Common Equity/Preference Equity/Bonds etc.). All these Corporate Actions are agreed upon by the Board of Directors and the Shareholders give their assent to them. Custodians and Registrars help manage these for the benefit of investors.

This course is designed to help students understand what corporate actions are, their different types and how these are executed.
